A young multi-instrumentalist solo artist and songwriter with an old soul and a knack for folk, Alex Boszhardt is a patron of the past in a generation where he believes music is too cluttered with aspects of refined technology to the point where the purpose has been somewhat forgotten.
A native of New Jersey and current resident of Boston where he attended Berklee College of Music, Alex can be found all over the world on his YouTube channel where he has religiously been publishing a wide array of weekly music videos that follows his musical adventures into some unexpected territories that include a well-received acoustic rendition Katy Perry’s Wide Awake, Jazz and Classical piano pieces, a Rod Stewart cover with a Rod Stewart impersonator, and a “Slightly Stoopid” version in the streets of NYC. As such, Alex draws inspiration and influence across genres and time periods, and strives to master as many styles as possible to create his original musical mush.
Alex self-released his first EP in 2017 called, “A Plate Of Oysters,” and has just finished his second EP and first studio recording with a full band, “The Main Course,” due out in 2019. Alex is releasing singles from it exclusively on his YouTube channel where you can stay tuned via his weekly posts.
